14-year-old Kathleen begins work as a maid in a quiet, orderly institution unaware that she is being prepared for something far more insidious. What started as a script inspired by the Irish Magdalene Laundries, ‘By HerWounds’ now also delves into issues surrounding sex trafficking, body autonomy and baby farms.
